Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

We are committed to respecting your data privacy and providing transparency about our data practices. This Privacy Policy explains how FaithFuel, a brand of ZenFiture Limited ("Company," "we," or "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data through our mobile applications (the EdenVita app for iOS and Android, formerly FaithFuel, collectively the "Apps") and websites (e.g., https://joinfaithfuel.com, https://joinfaithfuel.com, https://joinfaithfuel.com, collectively the "Websites"), referred to together as the "Services."

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If significant changes are made, we will notify you via email, through the Apps, or by requiring you to accept the new policy. Continued use of the Services after updates indicates your acceptance. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy for the latest information on our data privacy practices. If you do not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, we ask that you do not use the Services. Please discontinue use and delete the Apps if you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. PERSONAL DATA AND INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

We collect the following categories of personal data to provide and improve our services:

Personal data you provide:

  • General Details: This includes your name, email address, and subscription details. You may also choose to provide information about your gender.
  • Preferences: Information you share with us about your product or content interests and your communication or marketing preferences.
  • Communication Information: If you contact us, we collect your name, contact information, and the contents of your messages.
  • Health and Well-Being Data: You may choose to provide details such as your weight, height, body fat percentage, body measurements (for example, your waist), nutrition information, water consumption, health conditions you choose to tell us about (such as diabetes, pregnancy or high blood pressure), which we use only to adjust your daily nutrition targets, foods you want to avoid, the medications you add to your medication list (the name, dose and schedule you enter, and the doses you mark as taken), and any symptoms you track.
  • Account Photo: If you voluntarily upload a profile picture, we will store it as part of your account.
  • Food logging content. When you log a meal by photo, by voice or by typing, we process what you send us:
    • Meal photos you take in the app, to identify the foods in them.
    • Voice recordings you make in the app, to turn them into text.
    • Text descriptions of meals you type, to break them into foods and amounts.
  • Foods you create and food favorites: when you create your own food in the App (its name, brand, serving size and nutrition values), add your own serving size to a food, or mark a food as a favorite, we keep it together with your account so you can find and log it again. Only you can see these foods; we do not add them to our food database or show them to other users. We use them only to provide these features to you. We delete a food, serving size or favorite when you delete it in the App, and all of them when you delete your account; meals you have already logged with a food stay in your food log until you delete those entries or your account.
  • Search history: when you search for a food in the App, we keep what you searched for, how many results you saw and which food you picked, together with your account. We use it to improve our food database and the App, and we delete it when you delete your account.
  • Prayer check-ins: when you tap Say grace or Give thanks in the App, we keep which meal it was for, whether it was before or after the meal, and when, together with your account, to show your check-ins and to calculate your Table Grace Score. Because this can reveal your religious practice, we use it only to provide these features to you, and we never use it for advertising or share it with advertising partners.

Personal data we collect automatically:

  • Device and Usage Information: This includes details about your device, such as its make, model, operating system, advertising identifiers (on our website only), and similar technical data. Our iPhone and Android Apps do not collect advertising identifiers, and nothing you do in the Apps is used for interest-based advertising.
  • Log Data: Information automatically sent by your browser or device, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and date and time of your access.
  • Usage Activity: Details about how you interact with our services, such as your purchase history, content viewed, and areas of the site you visited.
  • Demographic Information: Data such as your age and gender.

Personal data from other sources

  • Third-Party Data: With your explicit consent, we may import data from third-party platforms to enhance your app experience. This includes data such as dietary habits, physical measurements, and health activities. These imports are subject to the privacy policies of the third-party services.

How we handle sensitive data

We do not use health data for advertising or sell it to third parties. This data is processed only to provide app functionality and features.

Aggregated or De-identified Information

If personal data is aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot be associated with an identifiable individual, we may use it for any business purpose.

By installing the app and creating a profile, or by explicitly accepting this Privacy Policy, you consent to:

  • The storage and processing of your personal data to provide and improve our services.
  • Receiving notifications and reminders via the app or the email address you provided.
  • Sharing data with technical service providers as necessary to deliver our services.

We will not share your personal data with third parties unless required for service delivery or you have provided explicit consent.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND INFORMATION

We may use your information, including your Personal Data, for the following purposes, in compliance with applicable privacy laws. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you provide your explicit consent where required:

Providing and Improving Our Services

  • To analyze, operate, maintain, and improve the Services, their features, and our marketing activities.
  • To develop and add new features or offerings to the Services.
  • To create a personalized experience, such as tailored content, workout plans, or recommendations based on your preferences.
  • To assess your needs and determine suitable products or services.

Communication and Notifications

  • To respond to your comments, questions, and requests and provide customer support.
  • To send service-related communications, such as product updates, warranty information, security alerts, or transaction confirmations.
  • To send you marketing communications, including promotions and insights, subject to your consent where required. You can opt out of marketing emails by following the "Unsubscribe" link in the email or contacting us at support@joinfaithfuel.com.
  • Marketing email measurement. Our marketing emails may include a small invisible image and links that let us see whether an email was opened, when it was opened, and which links were clicked. Each email and link carries an ID so we can tell which email it came from. We use this to understand which emails are helpful, to improve what we send, and to see whether an email led to a purchase on our website or in our app. Sign-in links and codes, receipts, and other account emails are not measured this way.
  • To send you push notifications. If you do not wish to receive these notifications, you can manage your preferences through your device or service settings or contact us at support@joinfaithfuel.com.

Research and Development

  • To conduct research and analysis, including for scientific and academic research purposes.
  • To anonymize or de-identify your personal data and use it for aggregated statistical purposes, such as analyzing the effectiveness of the Services and their features.
  • We also look at your quiz answers and search history together to understand what people need from EdenVita and to decide what to build next. We don't sell this information or use it for advertising.
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as verifying age eligibility for the Services.
  • To protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of our users, us, our affiliates, or third parties.
  • To prevent misuse of the Services and ensure the security of our IT systems and networks.

Information from Third Parties

  • To integrate data from third-party services upon your consent. With your permission, the iPhone App can read your step count and weight from Apple Health, and the Android App can read them from Health Connect. We store your daily step count and the weight readings the App imports in your account so we can show your progress. The Apps do not write anything to Apple Health or Health Connect. This data is only processed to provide functionality and improve your experience, and is never used for advertising.
  • To combine third-party marketing data with existing information to tailor advertising and improve products, provided this does not include sensitive or special categories of personal data under applicable laws.

Social Networks and Public Areas

To enable sharing of information, such as messages, photos, and videos, with others in your network. Please note:

  • Information shared in public areas of the Services may be visible to others and cannot always be removed.
  • If you mistakenly post personal data in public areas, contact us at support@joinfaithfuel.com to request its removal. In some cases, technical limitations may prevent us from removing it entirely.
  • Information you post in public areas may also be indexed by third-party search engines.

Aggregated or De-identified Information

We may aggregate or de-identify personal data so that it can no longer identify you and use it to:

  • Conduct scientific research.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of the Services and their features.
  • Improve or add features to the Services.
  • Share aggregated insights or statistics with research institutions or third parties.

Important Notes on Sensitive Data

  • We will not use sensitive information for advertising or sell it to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
  • Sensitive data will only be used for the purposes disclosed at the time of collection or as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Choice/Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email or contacting us at support@joinfaithfuel.com.

We may disclose your Personal Data:

  • Provide you with advertisements and information for products and services on other apps or websites based on variables such as your location, and assess your level of engagement with them; and
  • Carry out other purposes that are disclosed to you and to which you consent.

Depending on a service you use, we may share some of your Personal Data and information with third-party business partners who perform analytical and other tasks for us (in some jurisdictions such parties may qualify for being a 'processor' under applicable laws). These are the third-party services with whom, among others, we may share some of your Personal Data and information:

  • DeepSeek. DeepSeek is an artificial intelligence provider. To build and adjust your plan, our servers send DeepSeek a short summary. From your quiz answers: your goal, your food allergies and meat preference, and the eating difficulties you told us about. From your use of the plan: which day you have reached, how many days you have completed, your streaks, how long since your last visit, which meals you swapped, your typical daily water, how many grocery items you have checked, and the difficulty you pick most often in check-ins. We do not send your name, your email address, your weight, or anything you write in your own words in a check-in. To create a recipe when you tap Create for me, we send DeepSeek the meal type and the list of ingredients you can eat, which we work out from your food allergies, meat preference and the foods you want to avoid, and the words you entered for foods to avoid. When you ask a question in the App, we send DeepSeek your question, that day's earlier questions and answers, and the plan summary described above. When you email our support team, our system may send the text of your email, with personal details removed, to DeepSeek to help draft a reply. If you add a description to a meal photo, we send that text to DeepSeek together with the photo. To create a meal plan, we send DeepSeek the meals you chose, how many recipes you want, the list of ingredients you can eat (worked out from your food allergies, meat preference and the foods you want to avoid), the words you entered for foods to avoid, the names of recipes already in your plan, and any request you type in your own words. DeepSeek processes this only on our instruction. If you would rather we did not send your information to an AI provider, write to support@joinfaithfuel.com and we will stop doing so for your account.
  • Service providers that process food logging. To recognise meals we use third-party providers, and the content above is sent to them for that single purpose:
    • Baidu AI Cloud (China) — voice recordings, for speech-to-text.
    • DeepSeek (China) — the text of your meal descriptions, and meal photos, to identify foods and structure them.
    • Nutrition databases (USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret) — the words you type when you search for a food, to look up its nutrition values. We send only the search words, never your name, email address or account details.

These providers process this content on our instructions and only to return a result to us. They are located in China, so this content is transferred outside your country. We do not sell this content, and we do not use it for advertising.

We never send your weight, your body measurements or your medication list to any of these providers, and we never send anything you write in your own words in a check-in.

  • Meta (Facebook). On our website we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads on Meta's platforms. When you enter your email in our quiz, start checkout or buy on our website, Meta receives a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address with that event. Our iPhone and Android Apps do not include any Meta tools. Learn more about Meta's advertising policies: https://m.facebook.com/ads/ad_choices.
  • Stripe. Stripe processes payments on our website, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. When you buy on our website, Stripe receives your email address and your order details, such as the plan and price. You enter your card details directly into Stripe's payment form, and we do not store them on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.
  • Resend. Resend sends our emails, such as sign-in links and codes, receipts, cancellation and refund confirmations, and, if you agreed to receive them, marketing emails. It receives your email address and the content of each email we send you. For marketing emails, Resend also tells us when an email is opened or a link is clicked. Resend's privacy policy: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Zoho Mail. Our support mailbox is hosted by Zoho. When you email us, your message, your email address and our replies are stored with Zoho. Zoho's privacy policy: https://www.zoho.com/privacy.html.
  • DingTalk. Our team uses DingTalk, a workplace messaging service, to get alerts about support emails and refund requests. An alert can include your name and email address, the subject of your email, your order status and amounts, the reply we sent you, and our internal notes on your request. DingTalk stores this information in China. DingTalk's privacy policy: https://page.dingtalk.com/wow/dingtalk/act/privacypolicy2en.
  • Tencent Cloud. Our servers and databases are hosted by Tencent Cloud in its Silicon Valley region in the United States, so the information we keep about you is stored there. Tencent Cloud's privacy policy: https://www.tencentcloud.com/document/product/301/17345.
  • Apple. If you subscribe in our iPhone App, Apple processes the payment. Apple sends us a record of your subscription, such as the product, price, currency and dates, but never your payment details. If you subscribe in our Android App, Google Play processes the payment and gives us a purchase token, which our server uses to confirm your subscription (the product, its dates and its status) with Google; we never receive your payment details. If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple shares with us an identifier for your account and your email address, which may be a private relay address. Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in China, the United States and Australia, so your information may be transferred abroad. The privacy policy of each provider can be found on its website.

BY USING OUR WEBSITE, YOU CONSENT THAT WE MAY USE COOKIES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND COLLECT YOUR USAGE (INCLUDING FOR PROCESSING BY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS) AND SOME PERSONAL DATA UNDER A UNIQUE IDENTIFIER, FOR THE PURPOSES OF TRACKING, ANALYSIS, AND IMPROVEMENT OF OUR WEBSITE. BY USING OUR SERVICE, YOU EXPLICITLY CONSENT TO THE USE AND PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA COLLECTED AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

Aggregated Information. We may also share aggregated, anonymized or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you. For example, we may share, including, without limitation, in articles, blog posts and scientific publications, general age demographic information and aggregate statistics about certain activities or symptoms from data collected to help identify patterns across users.

5. DATA SECURITY

Security of your Personal Data is important to us. When you provide your Personal data that is considered to be sensitive or falls under "categories of special data" under applicable laws to us, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Data submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

Among others, we utilize the following security measures to protect your Personal Data:

  • Pseudominization and tokenization of certain categories of your Personal Data;
  • Protection of data integrity;
  • Encryption of your Personal Data in transit and in rest;
  • Systematic vulnerability scanning and penetration testing;
  • Organizational and legal measures. For example, our employees have different levels of access to your Personal Data, and only those in charge of data management get access to your Personal Data and only for limited purposes required for the operation of the App. We impose strict liability on our employees for any disclosures, unauthorized accesses, alterations, destructions, misuses of your Personal Data.
  • Conducting periodical data protection impact assessments in order to ensure that the App fully adheres to the principles of 'privacy by design', 'privacy by default' and other internationally accepted data protection principles. We also commit to undertake privacy audit in case of Company's merger or takeover.

Bear in mind that no method of transmission, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have any questions about security on our App, you can contact us at support@joinfaithfuel.com.

6. RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We retain your Personal Data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including:

  • Providing and improving our Services.
  • Complying with legal obligations.
  • Resolving disputes.
  • Ensuring safety and security.

If you choose to deactivate your account, we retain your Personal Data for up to one month in case you decide to reactivate your account. Deleting your account is different from deactivating it. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems straight away, and it cannot be restored. A limited set of records that we are required to keep — such as proof of purchase and consent logs — is retained for as long as the law requires. Certain information, such as general details, details about in-app purchases, communication information, and consent logs, may be retained longer as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

In addition, we may anonymize your Personal Data (removing any association with you) for purposes such as:

  • Conducting scientific research or statistical analysis.
  • Improving or developing our Services.

Once anonymized, this information may be used indefinitely without further notice to you.

If you wish to cancel your account or request that we delete your Personal Data, please contact us at support@joinfaithfuel.com. We will process your request in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

How long we keep food logging content.

  • Meal photos: deleted from our servers once recognition finishes. We keep only the foods that were identified and, if you choose to keep it, the photo you attached to your own diary entry.
  • Voice recordings: deleted once the transcription finishes. We keep only the text.
  • If you tell us why you are deleting your account, we keep that note without your name or email address to improve the app.
  • Text descriptions: kept with your diary entry so you can see and edit what you logged.

7. DATA STORAGE AND CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS

Our servers are located in the United States (“US”). This means that your Personal Data may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the US, where it is governed by US law.

Transfers of Personal Data Outside the EEA and UK

For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK), we comply with GDPR and UK GDPR requirements for cross-border data transfers:

  • Adequacy Decisions: Where applicable, we rely on adequacy decisions adopted by the European Commission or UK authorities, which confirm that the receiving country provides an adequate level of data protection.
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): When an adequacy decision is not available, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place by using SCCs approved by the European Commission (for EEA data) or the UK Addendum to the SCCs or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (for UK data).
  • Additional Measures: We may implement further safeguards to protect your personal data, such as encryption and data minimization, where necessary.

8. COOKIES, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KITS, AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

When you use our Services, we and our service providers, vendors, and partners, including third parties, may use cookies (small text files placed on your computer or mobile device to identify your browser or device) and other tracking technologies to collect information about your interactions with the Services. This includes information about the features you use, your actions within the Services, and your device or browser settings.

In the iPhone App, the only third-party library is Google Sign-In, which is used only when you choose to sign in with Google.
